BIG READ @ MPL!
The BIG READ kicks off at the Muskogee Public Library on Monday, September 28 at 6:30pm. The BIG READ hopes to inspire people in the community to pick up and discuss the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. In one of literature's most haunting denunciations of censorship, Ray Bradbury uses the materials of science fiction to tell the story of Guy Montag, a fireman forced to burn books. During the kickoff event on the 28th MPL will be giving away a limited number of copies of the book, reading guides, bookmarks, and door prizes. There will also be a Fahrenheit 451 trivia challenge. The event is free and open to the public.Click here for the BIG READ schedule
